Terms and Conditions of Booking
In these booking conditions, ‘the Company’, ‘we’, and ‘us’ refers to Goofys and ‘you’ refers to the person making the booking.
Amendment & Cancellation Policy
Holiday insurance is very strongly advised.
- A contract is made for the room(s) between the you and us on the payment of a deposit.
- Amendments to confirmed reservations received up to 4 weeks prior to commencement of the booking will be made free of charge.
- Amendments to confirmed reservations received within 4 weeks of the commencement of the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
- In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to re-book the room(s) but you will be liable to pay 75% of the total cost if this is not possible.
- Cancellations to confirmed reservations received up to 4 weeks prior to commencement of the booking will receive a refund of all payments.
- Cancellations to confirmed reservations received within 4 weeks of the commencement of the booking will ber refunded as follows: –
- If the room(s) is/are re-booked — refund of all payments made less any costs incurred in re-letting the room(s).
- If the room(s) is/are not re-booked — refund of any payments made over and above 75% of the total cost.
- Refunds will be paid not more than 4 weeks from the date of cancellation.
- In the unlikely event that we are unable to honour a booking, a full refund of all money paid will be made. We shall not be liable for further compensation.
Complaints Procedure
- Please inform us immediately, should you be dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay – in most cases we will be able to help you immediately so that you can enjoy the rest of your stay.

General
- The offer of any room is subject to the room being available on receipt of deposit.
- A deposit (50% of the total cost of accommodation) shall be payable to confirm a reservation.
- The balance of the cost of accommodation shall be payable on arrival.
- Bookings are for holiday purposes only and cannot give rise to a tenancy.
- We are not liable for any unexpected or unusual circumstances which are outside of our control, such as severe weather conditions, failure of public utilities, fire, flood, drought, acts of riot, etc. which may lead to facilities offered becoming unavailable for all or part of a booking.
- Whilst representations both verbal and visual are made in good faith, they are only intended to give general guidance as to the character of the accommodation, they do not form part of any agreement with us.
- We operate all year round; maintenance, changes and improvements are necessary to the upkeep of Goofys, and may take place without prior warning. Whilst we will endeavour to keep inconvenience to a minimum, no compensation will be offered for facilities offered becoming unavailable for all or part of a booking.
- Check in is between 17:00 (5pm) and 22:30 (10:30pm) on the day of arrival (unless prior arrangement has been made).
- All guests must vacate their room by 12:00 (noon) on the day of their departure.
- Goofys is strictly no smoking throughout.
- Prices are for bed & buffet style breakfast. All linen is provided including towels (guests are requested to bring their own towels for the beach or swimming). Any linen lost or damaged will incur a charge for replacement.
- No allowances can be made for rooms not being occupied for the full period of booking or for meals not taken.
- You are responsible for your own safety and well-being while at Goofys.
- Liability will not be accepted for any injuries sustained on the premises.
- You are responsible for the security of your belongings.
Security Bond
- During busy periods each guest will be required to pay a Security Bond of £50.
- The Security Bond will be taken via a credit/debit card pre-authorisation. This process will not debit your account but the funds will be held for us by your card issuer until such time as we instruct a cancellation. The applicable amount will therefore be made unavailable to you during your stay. We can only accept one credit/debit card pre-authorisation per booking. We cannot accept cash or a cheque.
- The Security Bond will be cancelled on the day of departure providing we have had no cause for complaint during your stay and that your room has been left in a presentable condition.
- The Security Bond is only cancelled once every member of the party has vacated the premises. We reserve the right to check all booked rooms before cancelling the Security Bond.
- Whilst staying at Goofys we kindly ask that you respect your fellow guests, our staff, our property, and all 3rd parties. Naturally, we want you to have an enjoyable holiday, however, this cannot be at the expense of anyone else. Should we deem it necessary to ask a guest to leave Goofys, his/her party will forgo all Security Bonds and room charges paid. In the unlikely event that a guest is asked to leave, all fellow members of his/her party will be asked to leave (with the loss of all bonds and room charges) along with that particular individual.
- In the event of malicious, wilful, or negligent room or other property damage over the Security Bond amount, we will charge the applicable amount of loss sustained by us, including business interruption losses, to the registered credit/debit card. Should any problems be encountered when debiting the card, we will pursue the matter through the civil courts.
- Anyone found admitting non-guests to Goofys will be asked to leave immediately, and his/her party will forgo all Security Bonds and room charges paid.
Under 18’s
- Under 18’s are usually allowed to stay at Goofys – at the discretion of the management.
- Any guest under the age of 16 (on the date of their arrival) must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
- Any guest under the age of 18 (on the date of their arrival) must either a) be accompanied by; or b) have the written consent of; a Parent or Guardian.
- Any guest under the age of 18 (on the date of their arrival) that does not meet the conditions above will not be permitted to stay at Goofys, and will forgo any room charges paid.
- All bookings for under 18’s must be made by a Parent or Guardian, or the Parent or Guardian of another member of their party.
- A Security Bond credit/debit card pre-authorisation must be made by the Parent or Guardian making the booking.
- You should bear in mind that Goofys is an adult environment – guests are expected to behave like adults and to assume adult levels of responsibility.
- Under-18’s are not permitted to consume alcohol whilst on the premises.
- The Parent or Guardian making the booking must be available to collect any member(s) of the party, should we deem it necessary to ask a guest to leave.
