Newquay Safe top tips on how to keep safe while you enjoy yourself in Newquay if you are under 18 and visiting without your parents.

• Join Exodus, our scheme for young people aged under 18.
• Make sure your accommodation has signed up to our code of conduct.
• Stay with your friends.
• Make sure your friends stay with your group.
• It’s OK to say no – don’t go along with something if you don’t feel comfortable or safe.
• Look out for our Streetsafe cabin in Newquay at the bottom of Marcus Hill.
• Remember it is illegal for anyone to buy alcohol for someone under 18.
• Alcohol makes people take risks they wouldn’t if they were sober, young people have tragically died in Newquay while under the influence of alcohol.
• Plan how you are going to get back to your accommodation at the end of the night.
